What you need to know about PlayMode NFT collection

What is PlayMode?

PlayMode is Andy Huang’s first NFT art collection. This is an ongoing project of unique pieces created for celebrating simplicity, playfulness and good stories. His goal is to create a total of 100 unique PlayMode portraits. They’re uncompromisingly 2D, flat colors, precise outlines, simplified shapes, and with odd and funny sensibility.

Bridging the gap between the old and the new. Giving a new take on mid-century graphic design and adding an uplifting energy to embrace the NFT art era. Enjoying the different narrative and vibration in every piece. This is Andy’s intention.

Why should I collect these NFTs?

Andy only wants people to collect if they truly like his artwork and want to own and invest. 

Andy started this project during the pandemic and he found a lot of calm and comfort in making his artwork. Many of them are quite uplifting and joyful so he decided to share to cheer people up. Andy wants to give anyone who likes his artwork a chance to own his artwork and receive the good vibes.

Why is NFT an investment?

NFT is unique due to its verified ownership that cannot be replicated or manipulated. When an item is limited, it becomes more valuable. The NFT market is speculative, with people buying up NFTs because there is the belief that they will later be more valuable to someone else. When the value of the NFT item you own is up, you can always trade it on NFTs marketplaces to make profits.

JPMorgan’s analyst report published on February 1, 2022 said NFT market-cap forecast to more than $35 billion for 2022 and to over $80 billion for 2025.

Now it’s a rare opportunity to catch the revolutionary NFT trend to support artist, own artwork, and make profits.

What cryptocurrency do NFTs use?

Ethereum is currently the most widely used to support NFTs.

As of February 15, 2022. Ethereum price has gone up 75.78% more compared to the same time a year ago.

The goal is to create a total of 100 unique PlayMode portraits. Andy will drop 25 pieces per round.

When is the drop date?

There’re 4 rounds to drop 100 pieces. Andy will make an announcement for the exact date before the drop on his Instagram. Here is the planned schedule:

Round 1: February 2022
Round 2: May 2022
Round 3: August 2022
Round 4: November 2022
